This is my fist post for the lensbaby blog circle. I’m so glad to be part of this group. Hope, you like it.
Since my rheumatic hands are hurting badly, I could hardly hold my Nikon full format camera. So I bought a small XT2, but wasn’t sure if I’d like the Lensbaby Velvet 56 mm if it was docked to the smaller sensor. Sometimes the bright glow at aperture 1,6 seems to strong for me.
But, it works quite wonderful: I created the still lifes with a tripod and the old black sewing table gave a great background.
Also the Tragopogon pratensis and the Consolida ajacis became quite tender.
The Centaurea and the Veronica prostrata were created with the Sweet 50 mm and macro rings.
The snail was made with the Double Glass 50 mm, which I bought used. This lens also has its very own character, which I appreciate deeply.
The next post is from the wonderful Birgit Fostervold.
